Square Dog Friday, lost in the laundry

Oh My Goodness Square Dog Friday is back.
Thank Goodness !
What two crazy weeks.

Computer and Blogger acting up All my comments have not been posted.
Wierd, just a few here and there.
.

Best of all I sent my phone through
the the quick wash setting.  It is now very clean but sputtering.

So off to the T Mobile Shop and picked out a new one. All done in an hour.
Then poor son had to work over the next few days to try and save some photos and
my "Line" program that is WAY better than IM and skype and with better stickers
and no awful emojis. And it is free !

But he found all my lost files on the phone with no touch screen.
I don't know how he did it but they are now safe on his computer.
.
well it is about time to be showin' i thehamish
it has being a hard time for me
i thehamish really gud and nice to them
not chases the kitties and letting them drink my water and eat my fud
and they run away and merida hisses at i thehamish

woe
i thehamish is filled with woe
woe is me
woe

 ,

........

Son saw Oliver staring out his window.
He could not see why till he got closer.
Peek to the left.

 Look beyond the window reflection.
It is a stare down and the roadrunner would win.
They always win.
.
i thehamish said the kitties could have photos today
but only today because i thehamish have been super nice to them
and they still not likin' i thehamish not gud

Oliver has the greatest fur ! it is spiky.

Japanese son said he has a dragon tail.
If you know me, I love Scotties, Godzilla and Dragons.

As always here is your pretty for the weekend.

Fall  moon rise over the Catalina Mountains.

I love making postcards from anything I can find.
Japanese son usually sends me labels from anything but mostly
sake bottles.

So I like sending him postcards made from all the foods and places he
misses in Arizona.
These were the best hot dogs I have had, so I made
and sent him this label.
Usually I put more on the postcards from torn paper, ads, stickers or drawings
but in this case just loved the type and photo of the cow.
So that is all I used.
Snail mail is the best and postcards are fast and easy way of saying
"I was thinking of you "!

  1. Hi, Gayle!

I'm sorry your computer and Blogger have been giving you fits. I was wondering where you got to. I hope you are back in business now.

I'm so sorry to see/hear/learn that thehamish is filled with woe... yet again! Why won't those darn kitties give him a chance? By chance did you hear that roadrunner go "meep meep" ? :) I love that pretty watercolor sky above your Arizona home.

Have a safe and happy weekend, dear friend Gayle!

  2. Hamish needs a Cat To Dog dictionary!

I can see why a road runner would occupy Oliver's attention!

  3. I wondered why you hadn't been around in a while--glad to hear it was just your phone and not something a lot more serious.

Hope the kitties realize soon how great Hamish really is!

  6. What a week! Washing the cell phone sounds like something I'd do@

Poor Hamish! Cats are always quite reserved. I'm sure they like him; they just won't let him know it.

And I love the photo of the moon over the mountains! It is beautiful!

    1. I am getting more and more forgetful.
He is so sad I have been looking for a friend for him but the ones I like are way up in Phoenix and you have to keep going back for visits. The shelters here in Tucson have only big dogs and chihuahuas which will not work for us.

  10. Where was Wiley Coyote? The Hamish is too good, it's time those kitties appreciated him. Line never works right for me. When our daughter is here she shows me how, then she leaves and it ignores me.

I love Line, it is like I can just tell them something in a second. Son does the best videos. I am getting better at it.

  11. Great to hear that your son rescued your photographs.

When I saw the roadrunner through the window, I immediately thought, "beep beep!"

Someday thehamish and those kitties will bond. What a surprise it will be to both of them.

Like you, I also like making one of a kind cards to send via snail mail. Fun to be playful with bits and pieces like that.

Hoping that your weekend will be fine. xo

    1. I know Mail is just the best. If I am lucky I save paper, ads, stories just anything and then I sit down and make a bunch and then send them off.

  12. OH how cool to see a roadrunner right outside your window! You have some pretty nifty critters in your neck of the woods. (But of course, Hamish is the best!) Although I have to say, that dragon-tailed cat is something else, too.

Your problem with the phone reminded me of something. Last week, I gave my friend in TN a call, and she and her husband were in the car on the way home from a meeting. We chatted right up until she was going in the house, and then she started cussing. In the process of carrying all of the stuff into the house from their &^*&% meeting, she managed to lose her &^*&^% phone. I said, "Um... aren't you talking on it...?" I thought that topped all until my hubby told me about someone else who was looking for his phone in the dark, and was using the flashlight feature on his cellphone to do it. HA. Maybe it's a good thing I don't have a cellphone...

    Have a terrific weekend.

The mind is not just going but has flown the coop.

  17. Glad your son recovered your file from the phone! Losing electric files is one of the scariest thing...!
thehamish, I'm sorry the kitties don't want to make friends with you. I hope they will eventually figure out that you are such a gud dug! Did you try scent exchange?
I love Oliver's dragon tail! Have a happy weekend!

  18. Dear Parsnip, that's what's missing from my life - a smart son to deal with all the mysteries of technical equipment!
thehamish is lookin' good - even when fast asleep with his tongue hanging out!
I went to a wonderful Georgia O'Keeffe exhibition in London this week and thought of you when I was in the rooms displaying her New Mexico paintings. Fabulous stuff - now I want to visit!
