Square Dog Friday. . . playing catch up

Here we are once again on the best day of the week.
Especially if your a
Two Little Black Square Dog.
.
I am playing catch-up today.
Had to go into the back and speak to a real person.
Oh My Goodness.
Like real people.
So I am posting late in the day instead of early in the morning.
The Square Ones did get some extra chicken strips because of the late posting.
One does not mess with their timetable.
Or we will have arbitration !
And I always lose.
.
We had to rush out and get cushion in when the freezing rain and snow
came a few weeks ago.
I have just left them behind the sofa. But we know anything on the floor
(and most other places) belongs to The Square Ones.
.
 Watson and thehamish

 .

 .

The little black sofa in the studio,
they have taken that over too.
.

thehamish is again not feeling so fluffy.
Ear infection.
Bummer !
.

And just because I can here is your pretty to start the weekend.

 Clouds over the Catalina foothills.
.

Daughter and I made some tiny Meyer Lemon Pound Cakes.
Using some of my Meyers Lemons.
The best lemons ever.

tasty. . . parsnip
music. . . Absolutely Still,  Better Than Ezra

  1. Such handsome dugs sunning themselves behind the couch. Hoping thehamish ear woes go away soon! Yert! More chikin' strips needed! Those little lemon cakes are making my mouth water. A rare treat to find a Meyer lemon around these parts. Sometimes Whole Foods will get them in stock and charge a gazillion dollars for a couple of them...but they are worth the treat. X

  3. Oh, that lemon cake looks soooo good. Nice and moist. My mouth is watering almost as much as your boys' mouths water for their chicken strip treats.

Of course they took over the cushions and sofa. You're lucky they allow you to share their home with them.

    Happy weekend!

    1. It does freeze here in the winter but just a few times mostly just right below freezing
Tucson used to get a bad freeze once every 50 or so years.
But now the deep freeze jet stream is dropping down from Canada quite often now.
We use to have a few days of rain a few days of sun and warm weather. Tomorrow it will be 70 here for the high and 42 tonight.

  7. Well naturally you put the cushions on the floor where you did just for the two square ones, why else? Hoping the snow doesn't last too long, it's very hot (for us) here just now and some don't like it. but we don't have a long summer so I say 'make the most of it'.

    1. The snow didn't even last the day. in the valley but it is staying uo in the mountains that are all around us.
It is the hard freeze dipping down that gets me.
Tomorrow it will be up in the 70 and lows about 40 with lots of sun. We do need the rain !

    1. hahahah if some one could prry one from my fingers... I guess I could send you one.
But with 7 to 10 day delivery time frame, not so sure you would be able to eat them.
And that is my story and I am sticking to it.
