Yes, the parsnip had a Birthday on Sunday !
I am now legally older than the earth.
But I had a great day, lunch and dinner out.
Lots of birthday wishes, presents and Daughter special ordered

A Princess Cake.
Yes, the parsnip is a Princess.
I have not had this cake in over 10 years.

ReplyDeleteI don't really eat sweets. And I must admit we had some cake and minced pie and never got around to eat them.

But I love this cake. A small slice with an afternoon coffee.

ReplyDeleteOMG!!Princess cake. My sister and I were just discussing shortcuts to making a princess cake. It involved a purchased cake, a bowl and some marzipan. Roll out marzipan. Put into bowl, shove half of cake into bowl add raspberry jam and rest of cake. Turn over-decorate and voila. What do you think? It's my sister's favorite.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!! Let there be (gorgeous) cake, indeed!
ReplyDeleteBelated birthday wishes! That cake looks incredibly delicious!
