As always here is your pretty for the start of the weekend.
A Scotty puddle and a cattie.
Oliver has taken over the chair that Kirby and later Watson would jump up on and sleep on.
thehamish tried but he needed a rug for traction to help him jump up
so it has never been his chair.
thehamish is always so sweet and nice to both Merida and Oliver but they both still
want nothing to do with him. Their lost he is so sweet.
cattie. . . parsnip
music. . . Freeway Of Love, Aretha Franklin
Awwww....!
ReplyDeleteWhy have I not visited you before?! We have rubbed shoulders in Pat's and Savannah's comment boxes for many years, so I thought I would stop by and say hello.
Sx
Hello, I sort of got a bit quieter the last few years.
DeleteHello back.
It is their loss, he looks so good, love the squeaky.
ReplyDeleteIT IS A PIGGGGGIE !
DeletePerhaps thehamish and the cats will find common ground more quickly than this country's folks find common ground rather than animosity.
ReplyDeletexo
Your words to God ears.
ReplyDeleteHam is looking fit as a fiddle.
ReplyDeleteHis latest tests came out 50/50 so I will take that !
DeleteHe likes the camera and the camera likes him.
That's a cute squeakie piggie toy. Lovely to see thehamish having fun with it :-)
ReplyDeleteThe llast picture is so cute! Scotty puddle and cattie! thehamish is such a sweetheart. I hope catties will figure it out soon :-)
I am going to try to get a few of them and them save them for Christmas and special days.
DeleteThey are just a rubber with a hole that makes the squeaky noise.
Hi, Gayle!
ReplyDeleteThis is another super set of pictures of your animals. thehamish really perked up when he heard and saw that squikie pig. He reminds me so much of my Toto. I wish just for one day I could be the nice tall person who feeds thehamish. I would spend hours petting and scratching and playing with him. I wish your kitties would warm up to thehamish.
Thanks for the uplifting post-election post, dear friend Gayle, and have a great weekend!
Do you think you could post a photo of Toto on your blog ?
DeleteHe would love a friend just for him.
Here is the post I ran days after my Toto was put to sleep in 2013:

Oh thehamish, I have a horrid yukky cold and seeing you has cheered me up no end :o).
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry you have a cold !
DeleteHope you feel better soon.
wurfs !
Cats are stand-offish like that, Hamish. Just wait. One of these days when you least expect it, one will curl up next to you sleeping. Then pretend it was purely an accident!
ReplyDeleteHamish is adorable with his squeaky but I really like the photo of both of them!
I hope so, My two outdoor cats were so happy to live with us that they never hissed at the Scotties.
DeleteBut I can't help feeling that they are sitting closer together and rather studiously ignoring one another - so perhaps friendship will come.
ReplyDeletethehamish is very sweet towards the catties. He will just sit there and the cat will hiss and run ?
DeleteCool squeak toy, Hamish!
ReplyDeleteI know how much fun is that pig.
DeleteNo progress is Hamish's bid to win over Oliver and Merida?
ReplyDeleteOliver lets him come somewhat close but ......
DeleteCats can be so funny. Some of them like to pretend they don't care about anything or anybody, but they really do. We had a beautiful Persian named Smoky who acted like he was detached and didn't want anything to do with our dog Buck, but he never let him get out of his sight, either. He'd follow him at a discreet distance, and nap nearby. And he never stopped looking for Buck after he was gone.
ReplyDeleteThey are already 11 years old but Need some training about counter tops and tables.
DeleteI think they're perplexed by him. Great shot of Oliver and Hamish!
ReplyDeleteIt is so hard to tell, They are 11 + so......... we really don't know why they do not like thehamish
DeleteI remember Bings first squeeky - lasted under 1 minute!
DeleteBings puppy mouth was bigger than thehamish mouth now.
Deletebut the squeeky get chewed out fast.
Woe to poor adorable Hamisch! I wonder if he squeaks extra loud to display his feelings about that cat! I know I would! LOL
ReplyDeleteYes and no but he enjoys it very much
DeleteHe's a lovely boy and those cats should be treating him better....a squeaky piggie will just have to do for now Hamish!
