Just a small post about our strange weather.
November and December in Tucson is "warmish".
Days in the low 70's and evenings in the low 40's.
Well paint me red and call me an apple, it is January today !

What a lovely view outside your studio. Man alive, that's pretty.
ReplyDeleteTucson is super pretty.
DeleteIt really is. The only two things I'd have a hard time with is au the dust you told me about. Plus, I do fancy a good snowstorm. I'd miss those cold winters.
DeleteWhat a difference clearing up makes!
ReplyDeleteAnd the sun came out !
DeletePoor Hamish. I don"t like walking in wet grass bare footed either.
ReplyDeleteOn a hot day not so bad.
DeleteDefinitely not what I expect to hear about in Tucson either, at this time of year! Hamish needs little bootees! :D
ReplyDeleteNot what I expect from Tucson either.
DeleteWow, Gayle, what a spectacular view you and thehamish have out there! Sorry you are experiencing topsy-turvy weather. At least your Scot dog can play outside without getting overheated, correct?
ReplyDeleteHe will not get overheated but doen't want to stay out either.
DeleteThat is strange weather for Arizona. We had a couple of nights in the 40's and I loved it. Miss Kitty loves it when it cools down and tries to sneak outside. I'm with the Hamish, I'd rather cuddle up.
ReplyDeleteToday was a good cuddle day.
DeleteI had some of my doors open yesterdat but not today.
It's mad, crazy weather everywhere!! *hugs* I love your view, and sweet thehamish, too! xoxoxoxox
ReplyDeleteCrazy weather for sure.
DeleteThe rain and snow is good for us but really that happens in January and February.
Ah, the hamish, I love the way you express yourself. I don't like wet feet. My backyard isn't underwater anymore, but it's quite wet. Penelope doesn't mind. She flies across the mud and wet leaves.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
i thehamish is gud about talkin' i thehamish is no gud water gud dug.
DeleteWild weather. Nice pictures though!
ReplyDeleteCrazy and more crazy.
DeleteWet, cold, miserable weather here too Parsnip. Lovely photographs though.
ReplyDeleteThank Goodness it will be bad to almost "normal" in a few days.
DeleteHello Parsnip, All the green must be abundant by now with all that rain. And the landscape is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteRegards,
Roos
Yes, our winters are green and not covered in snow.
DeleteBut winter really does not start intill January and February.
thehamish gud dog all day long no matter the weather
ReplyDeleteYour view is fantastic and I think I'd be inspired every single day.
Speaking of dogs with particular needs and wants, my own dear Coco doesn't want to get her feet wet, either...but say there's a rabbit out there and she'd run into a tornado.
Somewhere along the way, she got the idea that the name of all small animals is "get 'em" because we used to encourage her to scare off the geese by saying "get 'em." For the record, she has not now nor ever caught anything, she just loves the chase. Ball, rabbit, deer, horse, goose, butterfly...she doesn't care.
There's a get-em out there right now, Coco!!
I love your Coco story. "get 'em"
Deletethehamish is a gud hunter of lizards !
Phew! Windy here too. Good job I have plenty to be getting on with. Dxx
ReplyDeletePoor Hamish!
ReplyDeleteYou live in such a beautiful place, Gayle....
Lovely pix! That one with Hamish could be a painting!
