Wednesday in Japan. . . a few more gifts

More fun and wonderful gifts from Japan.
............

A small in size but huge in flavor
Yuzu and Wasabi paste.
Love in a jar.
I use it with almost everything.
I am also thinking why not icecream ?
.

Yuzu is a very aromatic citrus fruit. Kind of like a sour Mandarin Orange.
Or a mix of Meyers lemon, lime and grapefruit.
.

Made with yuzu peel, wasabi, salt and and I think fermented ?
It also tastes spicy and somewhat "herby"
.

You can see how big the jar is.  Small but full of flavor.
.

Not a piggy bank but a cow bank !
.

The very kawaii slot to put the money in.
I assume you would have to use a can opener to open the bottom of the can.
.

Here is your mid week pretty.
.
Watson is napping and I am taking his photo
but....
.

... as you can see, someone must always be included
and
with doggie radar seem to match the same position.
Of course he is always between me and Watson.
Such a naughty thehamish.
.

yesh ! no ones messss with gud dug thehamish
yert !

laughing. . . parsnip
music. . . Twist and Shout,  The Beatles

    1. Hey Thanks
I think where you live now you can find most of this. Especially if you have a Mitsuwa Market.

    1. The yuzu WASABI paste is fabulous but if you mix it into sauces you will know the flavor.
You might have to try it a few times. I put it on my chicken even.

  9. Yuzu sounds like it could be a perfume. I love lemon, lime and citrus colognes. Maybe a drop of Yuzu dabbed behind the ears? LOL
I finally began a new blog but it's still being worked on. If you'd like to come see it just visit: http://evegaal.blogspot.com

    1. We might go next week.
I have been so many times and it is fun but I have to use a walker and even then I get very tired.
Plus I have so many beads I bought over the years hat I haven't touched. I will take daughter and her partner to one show and use some passes. Daughter has been but partner hasn't so it will be overwhelming fun for her.
      I love your blog !
