Wednesday In Tucson... storm clouds

The day started out like this...

the storm blew in

lots of fast moving clouds

depositing snow on the mountains

rain in the valley

The next morning

this is what I saw

sun, blue sky and snow.
Lovely

Monday evening daughter came over and made a vegan corn and potato chowder.
So good on a snowy, rainy cold evening.
Fabulous !

Daughter cooks vegan at home but out in the world she is a vegetarian.

  1. Hello Gayle:
Such amazing weather conditions. As always we are so struck by the view from your house which is, truly, spectacular. And what a wonderful sight to see those mountains clothed in snow against and intense blue sky.

The chowder looks delicious - we could just eat that for our supper tonight!

  2. The major reason why I bought this home was the big windows and view.
The chowder was so good. I am having the leftovers for lunch today !

  3. Beautiful pictures of the storm. Soup looked good. I made split pea Monday night. Making vegetarian Lasagna for tonight in the crock pot.

    Hugs and chocolate,

    1. Our winter is so wierd... really cold days in the low 50's and then way below freezing... we are 10 degrees to cold or 10 degree to hot.
But the storm as usual was beautiful.

    1. Arizona gets a bad rap because of what the liberal press, race mongers and political crazies say about us but it is a beautiful state with lovely friendly people. I love living here.
If you ever get over here come stay at The Square Dog Ranch. The boys are getting fitted with saddles, spurs and tiny 10 gallon hats !
YeeHaw get along little doggies !

the ingredients here to make it.
