  1. Is that a rosemary bush in the first picture? It's so pretty! I've had rosemary plants before but they never, ever flowered for me.

Your reflection pictures are so beautiful! And those two gud dugs are beautiful, too!

    1. The purple a Texas Sage. Texas Ranger, Silver Cloud. Green or silver leafed plant with Deep purple to light pink blooms. Good for growing in the desert. When the monsoons come the plants bloom like crazy.

  2. Love the purple and, clearly, puppy does too.

A good reminder of how tiring puppies are....how easy it is to forget.

    1. He has tried and really growls at him. Nipped him twice but mandibles just comes back for more.
Hamish is always checking us out to be sure it is OK and I am saying get him hamish !
But he is almost completely deaf and has very little sight left.

  4. I love the way little Fergus seems to stay with Hamish all the time and also how Hamish has obviously accepted him.

  5. He is not super happy with the puppy biting and chewing him. but as all terriers he is very tenacious and just keeps attacking him. I wish thehamish would hold him down by the neck and give him a good gurrr.
Plus I am too old (no knees) to have a piddling puppy. I have enjoyed getting up early to see the sunrise but not the 3 am potty run.

  7. Please, thehamish, don't let themandibles fall in the pool. I can see that he looks up to you. It's good of you to prepare the crate for him.

    Love,
    Janie

    1. He follows him everywhere and does what he does. It is very sweet and darling. If it wasn't for the mandibles we would be great,

  12. That puppy seems to have grown in just the short time you have had him. Poor Hamish. Puppies have such sharp little teeth. The crate is a brilliant idea. How are the cats coping with their new house mate?

    1. I know he had grown so much. I miss the little wee handful I brought home.
The teeth have to go Now.
My studio is next to the kitchen that has folding glass doors. So the cats are on one side most of the day with most of the house to roam around. There is a gate to jump over for them to get into the kitchen. A big NO to fergus.

  13. Parsnip, it's been a great treat to finally give myself the opportunity to visit with you, hamish and fergus. This post is funny and beautiful, and makes me wish I could look at all your recent posts right this minute. I do promise to return for that pleasure very soon. xo
