Son bought me these sweet small plums.
They are a cross of a cherry and a plum.
They have very plum, tart skin sweet fruit with a hint of cherry. Quite nice.
So hot in Tucson the Javelinas came in to cool off.

Those plums look delicious! Delightful comic strip. My Lois sits in a certain spot in the yard to catch the wind. I must admit, I rather like a blast of wind to the face, myself.

ReplyDeleteThe National Parks Store has a beautiful building. The architect's design and choice of materials just seem to fit the setting wonderfully...right down to that blue fascia.
And hamish with closed eyes shows us yet another of his appealing modes. Please do give him a scratch behind those ears from me.

DeleteI love National Park stores and museum stores. You find some pretty unusual stuff there, along with shot glasses with the name of the park/museum. Do people actually collect shot glasses from every National Park they visit? (Just as long as nobody touches my Yellowstone mug.)
