Wonderful photographs Gayle. How does the Hamish cope with hot weather?
ReplyDeleteAlthough, looking at your photographs, you seem to have stone floors throughout, which must make quite a difference.
He is out and back in fast unless he sees a lizzzzzzzard to chase.
DeleteThe floors are very cool, and he does use them to cool off on.
Hi, Gayle!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could smell nature's perfume after an Arizona downpour. I'll bet black dog thehamish really feels that blazing sunshine on his coat - the peccaries, too. Your blooming shrubs are incredible! I can't get over how you turned waste materials into an art display.
I love thahamish. He's a gud dog! :)
Almost anything is beautiful.
DeleteMy Japanese son takes the best photos of everything rusty and leftovers no one wants.
I want to make a book of some of his wonderful photos.
Nature's perfume; that western smell almost as good as a horse and saddle and of course, The Ham is precious.
ReplyDeleteI really am thinking of finding someone to work with to design this.
Deletehand wash, candle or skin cream.
I used to be around horses when I was young, love the smell of saddle and a horse.
The sage and Hamish together is my favourite shot!
ReplyDeleteIt is favorite one too !
DeleteThat sage is amazing. And what colourful temperamental weather you're having in Arizona! But of course TheHamish is the prettiest of all!
ReplyDeleteYou could time the storms as little as 3 years ago, morning buildup late afternoon rain every two or three days.
DeleteNow they are any time of the day or not at all. You have to read the sky and smell the air. The new comers just complain instead of understanding.
I wish my sage looked like that. It is just fragrant leaves.
ReplyDeleteThe Hamish looking great.
This is called sage but you do not eat it.
DeleteSometimes it is called a texas Ranger. I really don't know why ?
Hello, thehamish and tall person who feeds him. I'm convinced it's hotter than hell here. Or maybe this is hell, but I don't think hell would have critters as great as Franklin and Penelope.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
No good very bad hot hot weather. You are not in hell because it isn't a dry heat ! And you have your sweet baboo !
DeleteYour picture of the clouds looks like a painting! Love to Hamish, broken tail and all.
ReplyDeleteThe colors were changing so fast I was lucky to get this shot.
DeleteYou must (please) show more of your Miss kitty.
The sage is lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt is a pop of color on hot summer days
DeleteEspecially against the subtler desert shades around it.
DeleteLove the sage. It is almost as beautiful as Hamish!
ReplyDeleteIt is blooming all over Tucson right now. Some rain and the town is flooded with pink and lavender blooms.
DeleteYour sage is blooming really beautifully! I love the photo of thehamish in front of the plant. And the head tilt...so adorable :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day xoxo
I love the head tilt.
DeleteBeautiful photos, Gayle...but nothing beats a photo of the Hamish!
ReplyDeleteHe is such a good little dug.
DeleteThat's blooming sage? We have something similar called lavender. So beautiful. Molten gold melts our hearts until we hear about the broken tail. OMG, what's going on with the cutie pie?
ReplyDeleteWhen he was born the tail had a kink in it. He doesn't wag it very much and he doesn't hold it up like a Scotty.
DeleteBeautiful view from a beautiful house. Love the Hamish.
ReplyDeleteLike your sweetpea they are love all tied up in a furry bundle.
