Square Dog Friday. . . gud dug

It is Friday again, so fast where did the week go ?

But if you are a Little Square Black Dog
it is the best day of the week.
Even if all the other days are really good it is
such fun to have your own day !

Before the computer and internet have a hissy fit I better post this.
Or try to post this.
.

A few photos of thehamish just back from the groomers.
He is doing much better and what is better than a herbal body wrap
to help lift your spirits.

Before he had some water I wanted to show his pretty beard and fluffy pantaloons.

.

.

 .

 .

 His fluffy pantaloons !
Love love love them.
.
After he eats he sits by me at the worktable and watches my hands
His head moves back and forth as I get the insulin shot, eye drops and pills ready.
Following my every move. It has been at least 7 years of the same thing,
day in day out. He has 2 insulin shots, between 5 to 7 eye drops a day
plus 4 pills. We are in it for the long haul I guess.

 Oh my sweet baboo !
Are you done eating ?

yesh nice tall person who feeds me i thehamish is waitin'

i thehamish is waitin' for chkikin' strip
hurry up i thehamish is waitin'

Yes, sweet gud dug I am getting it all ready for you.
Best gud dug ever !
ummmmmmm yesh i thehamish is still waitin' for the chkikin'
woe or woe is me i thehamish

.....................

And as always just because I can here is your pretty for the weekend.

.
Scotties are so funny and filled with all kinds of great quirks.
One of them is smiling.
I do not mean the open mouth panting but a smile.
Watson had a beautiful smile and thehamish smiles also.
Since he is so close to the floor whenever I try to take a photo he follows my phone down.
I rarely can get a photo, this time it worked.

My first Scotty Kirby, the princess who owned everything that was on the floor,
hence the name Kirby, had the very best smile ever.

  1. Hi, dear Gayle!

I was wondering what became of your Square Dog Friday post. I needed to go searching for it because it didn't show up in my reader.

I am very happy to find out that thehamish is doing better and also happy to see these wonderful pictures of him after his trip to the groomer. He is such a handsome fellow and very patient as he waits for his chkikin' strips (woe is he). He also has a great smile. I'm glad you were able to get in position to snap that picture of it.

I wish you and thehamish a very happy weekend, dear friend Gayle!

    1. He does feel better but he need the operation.
I was walking behind him just now and his right leg slipped went under his tummy and then popped back to the side.

    2. I haven't had any other posts since the last time you visited, parsnip, due to some outside events that have kept me kind of busy. Hope to have the next-to-last Star Trek post up sometime in June...I hope.

I still have time to drop in here, though, as leaving little comments on other people's blogs is less time-consuming than working on my own.

  12. I had a very old kitty who had to have heart tablets towards the end of his life. I'd thought that it would get very hard to get him to take a daily tablet, but he loved garlic sausage, so after his tablet he would have a piece of garlic sausage every day, and he started coming into the kitchen to get it, tablet or no tablet! I was so glad and bet you are too that thehamish can look past his medicines to his chikkinstrip too!
