Wednesday in Japan. . . but it is really Tucson

I am trying to finish an art project
and as I usually have only about 4 good hours to work
before my eyes start to bother me, so this is a quick post.
.
Think I have to go back to the doctor and have my eyes sewn-up again they are leaking.
But they are very pretty with lighting bolts, firework and amoebas floating by.
.
We have this wonderful Japanese Restaurant a few minutes from my home.
It is called Ginza and it is an Izakaya styled restaurant.
Lots of small dishes to chose from that are shared at the table.
Along with sushi it also has the traditional Izakaya dishes of sashimi, tempura and salads.
It also has a nice selection of beers and sake.
Plus a wonderful atmosphere and fabulous owners and staff.
Reminds me of Japan.
......
 Yuzu Hamachi
.
 Sashimi
.
I forgot to take the photos of the nigiri, we had hamachi (yellow tail) ebi (shrimp) and mackerel. Gosh I love mackerel, a dense firm fish that tastes of the ocean
 and very rich.

............................

And just because I can or have to according the arbitration.
Here are The Square Ones for your mid-week pretty.
Along with the extra homemade chkikin' strips
they get.
.
 Gud Dug Watson sleeping
.

and  dreaming of  flowers.
On his walks he loves to stop and smell the flowers.
He is just so sweet.
.

And then there is thehamish.
Oh Lord have mercy .....
Sleeping, he is sleeping even with his eyes somewhat open
and the tip of his tongue sticking out.
What a hoot !
.
hungry. . . parsnip
music. . . The Forgotten Robot Soldier, Joe Hisaishi
OST  Castle in the Sky

  1. Good to see you're following the terms of the arbitration! There's no such thing as too much of the Square Ones!

Hope the doctor can make your eyes better....

    1. It is a very Snippet photo.
Some of the photos where taken between groomers.
It took me two years to find a new groomer that I and The Square Ones liked.

  4. Bolts, fireworks and amoebas...oh my. That does not sound good. Please fix quickly. Yert! My gud old dug Buzzy McDuff had an eye emergency yesterday and despite a panicked drive across the state to meet with a specialist for quick intervention, has resulted in the loss of vision in his left eye. *Sigh* Recovering and still has vision in his right eye but still...it's so difficult when these things happen. So tonight I shall have a wee dram and try not to fret too much over 'both' of you! PS: The photos from the restaurant also made my tongue hang out and drool a little bit...just like thehamish. :-)

    1. I so understand your upset over Buzzy McDuff. thehamish had lens replacement on both eyes and when I left him at surgery I was so upset. They just trust you to help them. Even with the replacement we still have to be so careful and he is having problems off and on.
As for my eyes they seem to be leaking again so I need to zap over to the doctors.

  5. Oh yum. That food looks wonderful. All of my kids were into eating sushi long before I was. I mean, raw fish??? But once I tried it, I love it.

Love that last picture, too. What a cutie.
