parley view parsnip. . . it is a kitchen sink kind of day !

Opps ! I hit the publish button instead of the save for Monday button !
This was suppose to be Mondays post.
.

What a weekend.
Hot so hot  to hot, I am used to Tucson summers but with no winter,
the very little spring morphed into summer.
Just one day HELLO,  I AM SUMMER  hear me roar !
.
As I write this Sunday evening the temperature is 93 at 8:30 pm.
Still hot air like a suffocating blanket you don't need and never want.
.
When we have these hot days with very little or no clouds (humidity)
I call this the hot sunsets. The air even looks hot.
.
 .

 .

My small fountain is a relief.
Visually and with the sound of water is very cooling.
In the morning Mrs Blanding (a morning dove) and several of her friends are usually waiting for me to turn on the fountain.
I swear they look towards my kitchen window.
.
 .

 .

 .

Some of my cactus near the fountain.
.
 .

Cabana Boy Watson relaxing in the shade.
Some ice tea please.
.

 .

 hahahahaha no photobombing thehanish.
He just saw us when I stopped. To busy chasing lizards.
.

Here is your pretty to start the week.
a much cooler cloud photo from Friday.
.

. Now some answers to some comments.
.
Waldie is the only dog in the pool for his rehabilitation.
.
Watson loves to lay in the hot sun it is good for his arthritis.
But when it gets to hot (black Scotty) he will come inside to lay on the cool tile floor.
,
This is the only water thehamish will play with.
.
This is as close to the pool water that Watson will go.
.
And thehamish never falls in getting his floating toys.
I am glad they do not go in the pool because that would mean
a bath and wet dog smell everyday.
.

hot. . . parsni[p

  1. The photos are gorgeous, but having been in Arizona, I know what the loveliness means! H O T doesn't evev begin to do it justice!! What a relief your fountain must provide even if it's only "symbolic." Well done, sugar. xoxoxo

    1. Well we usually have 9 months of fabulous weather and 3 of hot so I think that is pretty good.

  8. Hot and lovely.

I like that the doves look for you to turn on the water.

And your boys are very smart not fall in the pool and stay shaded.

    Hugs and chocolate!

  9. Those photos at the top look as if you are on the edge of a volcano.
I sometimes get the impression that you are a much favoured guest in your dog's house.:)

  10. I like hot weather but not when it is humid. Running water and a pool would help a lot though. The skies do look beautiful, despite being a sign of uncomfortable weather for you.
