parley view parsnip. . . . more cards

Every year I decorate the credenza with some of my favorite
Christmas Cards.
This year I had a very hard time deciding so I put out more than I usually do.
A plethora of cards.
In fact I only put out one of mine.
Plus no room for the tiny lights.
Goodness.

On the built in cabinet in the libary I always put my snow globes,
and this year some very tiny lights.

I just love the way this looks.
Snowmen snow globes  are my favorite.
.

I keep forgetting to answer questions about what this fabulous big bird is.
It is a book that daughter made.
The bird is the cover and you lift up the wing and a book is neslled there.
You remove it to read.
The book has no words but is an illustrated map of the bird's journey.
And I get to have it in my home !
Yes, lucky me !

Here is your pretty for the start of the week

I found these little elf hats many years ago at Ikea.
You are to put a very small candy or gift inside but I never do.
I just mass them and mix the numbers up.
I love it.

I just love them.

    1. I don't have as many as I did before the fire. I buy one a year if I see one I like but I don't go out looking for them.
My favorite Snowman with the globe on his head was bought at Target several years ago.
