Christmas in Tucson, Arizona.
I live in the Sonoran Desert.
Christmas here are very different from what is the visual norm
we usually associate with Christmas and winter.
Winter storms do flow in for a day or so but then it is sun, blue skies and temperatures
in the high 50's to high 60's
Even without below freezing days, snow, ice, snow drifts engulfing cars and homes
we do get in the Christmas spirit.
Every year the Tucson Medical Center decorates their many Saguaros with Santa Hats.
I did a photo drive-by on Monday of one small parking lot but I want to go back.
So kawaii !
This Saguaro is a home for a Cactus Wren or if we are really lucky
a very tiny (5 inched tall) Elf Owl
Those Cacti are very funny!
