square dog friday....

A few pictures of the great weather we have had this week...
Sunrise with storm clouds over the Rincon Mountains

after two days of wonderful gentle rain clouds lift over the Rincon Mountains.

Sunset with clouds over the Catalina Mountains.
This is what is nice about Tucson,
a few days of rain, the clouds lift
the sun breaks through and some days it is just this bright and golden.

Watson.....
ummmmmm, isn't this the The Square Dog Friday post ?

Afternoon sun shinning on the Catalina Mountains from my studio window.

Waston...
sheeeeeesh !
Our day, gave up one chicken strip for this ?
the studio kind of a mess with tall persons "work"
books, cards, boxes filled with good stuff sent off to Japan for
nice little Koguma-chan and other nice people.
Guess we will just go take a nap if we can find our pillow.
There better be a chicken strip waiting for us after our nap !

  1. Hello Gayle:
These are truly amazing images of the countryside around you and what spectacular views you have from both the studio and the kitchen windows.

These shots of the mountain give real meaning to the phrase 'bathed' in golden light.

    Jó hétvégét!

  4. That first picture seems like a kind of foreboding thing to wake up to. I think I'd just a soon crawl back into bed, pull up the covers, and go back to sleep.

  6. What drama your sky provides, not to mention those two square ones with their limelight and chicken strip chasing! How you get any work done I just don't know.

  7. Jane and Lance...
The light here is very amazing. And sometimes the sun set does shine this golden and bright even in winter.

    Weaver...

    Empress Bee...
and The Square Ones love you back !
    yert !

    Kirk...
The first photo was shot directly into the sun so the exposure was a bit wonky. The second photo was really more what the morning looked like.

    William...
I like shooting into the sun and see what the camera comes up with. I have gotten some wonderful photo that way.

The Boys love any attention. Especially Hamish. I really don't get a lot of work done.
