A few pictures of the great weather we have had this week...
Sunrise with storm clouds over the Rincon Mountains
after two days of wonderful gentle rain clouds lift over the Rincon Mountains.
Sunset with clouds over the Catalina Mountains.
This is what is nice about Tucson,
a few days of rain, the clouds lift
the sun breaks through and some days it is just this bright and golden.

Guess we will just go take a nap if we can find our pillow.
There better be a chicken strip waiting for us after our nap !

Hello Gayle:
ReplyDeleteThese are truly amazing images of the countryside around you and what spectacular views you have from both the studio and the kitchen windows.
These shots of the mountain give real meaning to the phrase 'bathed' in golden light.

That first picture seems like a kind of foreboding thing to wake up to. I think I'd just a soon crawl back into bed, pull up the covers, and go back to sleep.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photographs, particularly with the sun shining... and the lads are charming as ever!
ReplyDeleteWhat drama your sky provides, not to mention those two square ones with their limelight and chicken strip chasing! How you get any work done I just don't know.
ReplyDeleteJane and Lance...
ReplyDeleteThe light here is very amazing. And sometimes the sun set does shine this golden and bright even in winter.
Weaver...
I just saw your photos from your lunch out... mountains and snow beautiful !
The Square Ones say woof..... and thank you !
Empress Bee...
and The Square Ones love you back !
yert !
Kirk...
The first photo was shot directly into the sun so the exposure was a bit wonky. The second photo was really more what the morning looked like.
William...
I like shooting into the sun and see what the camera comes up with. I have gotten some wonderful photo that way.
The Boys say woof and yert !
Eryl...
The Boys love any attention. Especially Hamish. I really don't get a lot of work done.
Those vistas send stirring music buzzing through my head -Fingal's Cave-like stuff.
ReplyDeleteYou've caught the light so perfectly in those landscape shots.
ReplyDeleteLove your dogs.
The photos, as always, are beautiful. But Watson and Hamish are the real stars here!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwww!
ReplyDeleteWow, the desert looks beautiful.
