de Young museum

de Young museum, originally uploaded by angryparsnip.

I had to take a quick picture as I was standing in the middle of the
road ! this picture does not show how truly Beautiful this Museum is !
The Tower ( super bad angle) is a triangle turned on it axis. The very
top is a spectacular viewing deck of San Francisco and the floors
below are conference and classrooms.

Fabulous !

Flying home tomorrow, cheers . . . parsnip

  1. Wow this is all new to me! I remember the old DeYoung museum and all the other buildings! Things have changed!! Is the tea garden still there?

  2. Kanani. . .
It really has changed for the better.
I didn't have a chance to go to the Tea Garden but it looked as Fabulous as usual. That was always one of my favorite places.

  3. I wish I'd seen this when we were in 'Frisco.
Now repeat after me - 'I must not stand in the middle of the road.'

I stand in the road all the time. . . I just wave my cane but a tour bus was coming and a bit later a very darling policeman on a beautiful horse. I was too far away to snap a picture. . . bummer !
