We are starting to breathe the air that is not overwhelming smoke.
Winston who loves being outside is very happy. So am I ! We have had a
few sprinkles, more rain south but not here. The air is filled with the scent
of sage, mesquite, ozone and earth. . . Lovely.

I’m glad the fire is moving away and air quality is getting better. I hope Winston’s surgery will go smoothly and he will make a quick recovery.

I know you will be concerned about iWinston but he will feel much better after he has healed up from the surgery. I will keep him in my thoughts for sure next week and you too! I'm so happy the fire is not as bad and the air is better!

ReplyDeleteThe fireworks started here last night. A business just down the road set of expensive ones for a solid 20 minutes and we had a pretty good view from the back porch. I imagine tonight will be bigger, but George isn't afraid of them and Ginger is getting somewhat deaf so we turn on the TV kind of loud for her to drown them out. With the fire trouble you all have I imagine fireworks displays are not allowed?
It's wonderful that you can be outside again breathing things other than smoke! Prayers for Winston and his surgery.

ReplyDeleteI love that picture. When I took our Schnauzer to be groomed, they always put a bow on her, which was a laugh. Crisscossing bandoliers and a machine gun in each hand would have been more appropriate.
