  2. Try talking to him in a Scottish accent. He's so cute, how can you get mad at him.

  3. Oh no Gayle. He's a digger. That could be a problem. Oh well, I guess it could be worse. How could you fuss at a puppy. Wonder if he dug up something...

    1. None of my Scotties dug or just fluffed a bit but he is a digger.
      I am in such trouble.

    1. He hasn't learned to jump in the pool yet and get rid of the evidence.

  5. Hi, Gayle!

Looks like Winston's name is mud. :) He denied knowing anything about that hole in the yard, but his dirty snout gave him away. This being late October, I'm thinking he is instinctively trying to carve out a den in which to hibernate during winter. :)

I admire your globular cactus with the tangle of red spines.

Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend Gayle!

  7. He has impish eyes....reminds me of Pop. our two occasionally dig holes but not often. Usually in the compost heap after snakes eggs or rats :o). He is such a cutie.

    3. I am thinking of building him a digging place.
But first I will ask his trainer what to do.

  9. How did your hair get so messy, Mandibles? I'm mystified, and I know you are, too, innocent doggy.

  12. This series of pictures is sooooo funny. I KNOW the evidence is, um, rather strong, but it IS still circumstantial. I mean, did you actually SEE that little angel dig that hole? Maybe some OTHER dog did it and flung the dirt on sweet innocent Winston to throw you off the track... Or not. (He's still the cutest dog ever!)

    Have a super weekend.
