This year my Christmas card is the
Eighth Day of Christmas.
.
I have been sending cards out but I have lost my list.
I think it was shredded with some of thehamish latest vet bills lots of bills.
So if you did not get a card from me I am very sorry.
Next year I will be better.
Next doctors visit is tomorrow
thehamish has been throwing up last night and early morning.
This morning he is much better ate breakfast and kept it down.
We are keeping him warm and quiet.
He is the gud dug thehamish
.
My friend Debbie spoils me. She always finds such wonderful gifts on her trips.
I told her all she had to do was give me this box and I would be heaven no matter what was inside.
.
And just because I can here is your pretty for the midweek
When I was growing up in Tucson we did not have snow.
So we used tumbleweeds for our snowmen.
We did not have lights on them but we fun anyways.
snow. . . parsnip
music. . . There's Still My Joy, Indigo Girls
Great pictures and card and here's to the little pup getting better.
ReplyDeleteWe are keeping him quiet.
DeleteI have a story book called Tommy The Tumbleweed. I have seen them spray painted white and hung in trees with lights, but the snowman is even better. I've seen those things as big as volkswagon beetles rolling along. They don't have them where I live now. Sweet memory. Glad Ham has improved as I've worried about him. Sister is diabetic too and we had the cataract surgery. She has lots of stomach problems from both ends;( Avoid dairy and any fat, but I know you already know that. Sister has had it for several years now. God, we love them so. Happiest holidays to you. I knew you'd like that crane tree.
ReplyDeleteWe had a new Scotty Puppie reserved for us. We named her Agatha. I really didn't want a puppy but it seemed special that one came up. But I droppeed out. So now I will keep looking here for an older friend for thehamish
DeleteWhat made you drop out?
DeleteIf thehamish's kidney are getting really bad I don not want to be training a new puppy.
DeleteSo I will just keep looking for an older terrier, NO chihuahua mixed in there. Nasty dogs.
Except for a blog friend dog. I is good the other is bad.
I love your card - thank you for sending it to me. Lastyear you sent me a small card cut out of dear Watson - he would be proud to know that he is on my Christmas tree again this year.
ReplyDeleteI love your cars also so special to get international mail.
DeleteWatson would love that very much. He was such a gentle old soul and loved everyone.
I adore that card and mine is on my mantle. I'm getting worried about all the cards I sent out...I haven't heard of even one arriving yet and it's been over a week! :(
ReplyDeletePoor Hamish. Give him a kiss for me.
Mail hasn't come yet, I will look as soon as it does.
DeleteEven though I love cards, blogging with you has been the best gift.
No worries on my part.
What a lovely card - thank you!
ReplyDeleteI wish you a peaceful and happy Christmas to you and your loved ones.
Best wishes,
Greetings Maria x

Your card is lovely, you are very talented. I've enjoyed looking back at your decorations as well especially all those cards. I keep some of my old ones as well, they're too nice to throw out or cut up.

Penelope, Franklin, and Stella are concerned about thehamish--who is a very gud dog, just like they are--and they want him to be healthy.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
His kidneys are acting up. It is not really looking all that great. I am very worried.
DeleteChristmas is so late at the home. Barley got the tree up and a few decorations out. What shopping I did was thing I ordered from Amazon months ago.
I am hoping I can get things together.
Love the card , and the snowman. So hope the Hamish's doctor appointment goes well.

DeleteI hope you will rest soon. I am so far behind Maybe I will finish on Christmas Eve.
Loved the card! And the tumbleweed snowman is so wonderful. Yesh, we have snow...lots of snow! Our driveway is an ice skating rink. Asked the plowman to drop an extra load of salt and sand today as we have family coming in soon and don't want slipping accidents! Holding a good healing thoughts for dear Hamish. X
ReplyDeleteI was going to suggest snowshoes but ice skates might be in order.
