Wednesday In Japan. . . Christmas

Quick post for me and then back to folding my Christmas Cards
and a coffee.

One year (after the x walked out) I took the children and we went to Tokyo
for Christmas week.
One of the best treats was going to the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Japan
on Christmas Eve.  Best day ever. So much fun.
Of course I was careful and only bought just a few Totoro Cups.
So wrong !
I should have bought all 12 but I didn't.
.

So on 2nd Day of Christmas let there be Totoros !

All of the cup above my coffee maker are from Japan except for the red one on the left.
Love the espresso cups on the bottom right that are in shadow, the handles are green leafs.
.

.

 Totoro and a dust sprite.
Kawaii !
.
 Time to make some coffee.

..................................

Of course just because I can here is your mid week pretty.
Two cups I only use at Christmas time.
I think they came from Starbucks many many many years ago.
I haven't been in a Starbucks forever !
But I am happy I went there that day to buy a Starbucks loving friend a gift.
And I saw these cups. I kept them.
So sweet.

.

coffee. . . parsnip
music. . . It Feels Like Christmas.  The Muppets

  1. I have Starbuck's whenever I go to the city and drink their new Via packs of instant expresso at the farm. Love your cups. I have my favorite ones too. Love where you keep them too. I think I'll go have a cup right now. (I am so impressionable!)

  3. Your cups are so cute!! I love the one with leaf as handle.
And those Starbucks cups are very cute, too. They make part of lovely Christmas decoration :-)

  4. Coffee mugs and little coffee cans with saucers are (one of) my weaknesses. The cans are in a cabinet at the end of the hall and come out for 'dinner' parties and the majority of mugs are on shelving around the kitchen. We actually use from a selection of about 20 and the rest have to be dusted when I feel like it.
Of course they all hold memories as well as coffee, tea and dust.

  5. Okay, you may have gotten a wee bit carried away with those cups, but hey, sometimes that's perfectly fine!

Most of us have cups and mugs to drink coffee, tea or whatever
why not have ones that you truly love ?
I am sure you have a huge amount of Maple Leaf and a certain Mayor
on many of your favorite mugs and glasses.
      hahahahahahahahahahaha
