Square Dog Friday, Herbal Body Wrap

Here it is the best day of the week.
Square Dog Friday.
You know the drill  so lets woof it !
.
Photos of thehamish before the Herbal Body Wrap.
I must admit we were playing with him.
Nufferling under the blanket and pillows
so he did get his really cute beard all roughed up.
I love the scruffy look.
......

 Hahahahahahahahahahaha I love this look.

Here is the very regal after Herbal Body Wrap look.
So clean, so perfect, so pretty till he hits the sofa and carpet and messes
all this beauty up, right after this photo.
Right now he looks like the photo of an author on a book jacket.
.

Some sad news for me
Because of our very strange weather we had rain zooming in every evening
for the last two week.
Not that I am complaining because we need the rain but.....
I had to turn off the heater to the pool. I usually don't shut it off  for another two weeks.
This has been the strangest summer I have ever lived in the desert.
So very wierd !
The storm have zoomed in at the strangest time not our usual weather patterns.
So my pool exercise time has been scattered.
So now it is back to the machines indoor which not as much fun and harder (painful) to do.

Plus no more Cabana Boys !
oh woe is me !
woe !
I love my Cabana Boys.
woof !

Watson and thehamish "The Cabana Boys"
wurf woof !
.
thehamish is looking good,  hubba habba
ummmmmmmm were is my drink cabana boy ?
The one with the fruit and little unbrella in it.

.
I think thehamish drank it !
He did spit out the umbrella though.
He does that, often.
.

.......

And just because I can
here is your pretty for the weekend.

Some new thehamish Cabana Boy photos from two weeks ago.

Yesh i thehamish is a gud cabana boy

  2. Hi, Gayle! Is the Sonora turning into a tropical rain forest? :) These pictures of your two cabana boys and the closeups of thehamish all gussied up are stunning. What a handsome breed of dog!

Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend Gayle!

    1. No tropical rain forest yet but the rain is much needed.

  3. Look at that face. So clean and happy and lovely. Sorry that you had to close the pool early. Inside machine workouts, compared to your pool sound more challenging. But we'll be here to cheer you on along the way.

  4. Square Dog Friday is definitely the best day of the week. thehamish bears a resemblance to the blogger John Grey in Wales (Going Gently). I think I've seen you there. thehamish is sweet like John, too. I wonder if John would wear flowers in his hair.

    Love,
    Janie

  7. the hamish is a very good looking cabana boy, just the right touch :)
About the kittens - yes they have all been fixed, including the mama. Daughter only let her have one litter, hoping to put her with another manx belonging to a friend but Missy had other ideas.
    Have a good week.

  14. Cute cabana boy. I have cabana girls. LOL PInky runs to the other side of the pool for each lap and waits for me to pet her. I do sometimes but since I go 84 lengths it slows me down to pet each time. The weather has slowed me up from daily to once or twice a week. Now we go on walks.

    1. My pool is old and small. I just "repooled" it didn't change the shape. Deep one end shallow the other.
So I walk back and forth on the shallow short side, then do the floting exercises in the deep end.
even with my walker it is hard for me to walk the streets because I mostly holdd myself up with my arms. It hurts. That while I love my pool.

  15. We always like our "boys" (cabana or otherwise) with a bit of a roguish scruffy look, but man oh man, it's nice when they clean up all gentlemanly and handsome like thehamish did, too. He looks oh-so-dignified.

Bummer about having to close the pool. The weather's a bit odd here, too. Had a couple of pretty cool nights... even turned the furnace on... but it was back to sleeping with open windows again last night. We just got back from a car show and fall festival a little while ago. It's so warm outside, I felt kinda bad for the gals who were trying to sell crocheted and knit hats and scarves.

I don't like it when weather patterns are disrupted either. You always wonder if you're going to be left unprepared!
