By the time the Typhoon hit the Osaka area it was wind and then a rain storm.
Son said no worst than any other storm.  But the southern island were hit the hardest.
All the JR trains were stopped before the storm hit what ever area you were in.
They were very ready for the Typhoon.

Again you tube will not let me post thehamish bobbing for this favorite birthday ball.

  2. Hawks - those we've got. We had grouse in our yard last year after several years without. I'm hoping they'll be back again this fall. Of course, that also means we see goshawks from time to time.

    1. Since I live on a hill I get to see lots of Hawks. I love how they just glide around and usually land in my yard.

    2. You manage to get such good photos of them. I rarely do. I've thought of setting up a game camera around the feeders. Of course, that would be a lot of chickadee photos...

  4. Quite a hawk! I wonder what he thinks, staring in like that. "Let me in, it's too wet out here!"

    1. He was sitting on the rosemary poking around.
Lots of quail, bunnies and lizards are always resting in there.

  5. Handsome thehamish!! Glad you enjoyed your chikikin' strips and birthday ball! You look very excited playing with it :-) And looking super shiny and relaxed after herbal body wrap!
Glad your family in Japan was OK. Hopefully this is the last big typhoon this year.
The hawk is beautiful! I've never seen one so close around here.

Thank you for your comment. About eating on plate, I just put food back to plate each time kids drop it...then they began to put back themselves. Of course, they are not always good and can be messy sometimes!
