Big news in Tucson, Arizona.
On May 16, the Ice Broke on the Santa Cruz River.
The first day of 100 degrees.
.
If you know Tucson, all our rivers are dry (earthquake, underground aquifer)
and only have water flowing with the winter run off and during the summer monsoons.
I am so happy hahhahahahahahahahaha.
The pool is officially open.
Taking about weather, I have been "under the weather" for several days.
Not very happy about that.
booooooooo.
.
I usally can tellhow hot it is outside by what time in the morning Watson starts laying in the sun on the cool tile floor with the AC on.
.
My sweet baboo Watson.
.
.
Following the sun.
.
.
Son went to Trader Joe's
and brought back a bouquet of the most lovely flowers.
.
Just one in a lovely vase is perfection.
.
.
I have never seen hyacinths like this before.
And just because I can here is your pretty for the start of the week.
I boiled some eggs for The Square Ones and me.
One of the eggs cracked during cooking.
and when I shelled it the yoke and white looked like a perfect circle.
.
.
I think this is so amazing.
.
egg. . . parsnip
music. . . Burning In The Sun, Blue Merle
Sorry you have been under the weather.
ReplyDeleteTess follows the sun round and lays in it just like this.
They know what is good !
DeleteDouble hyacinths - gorgeous! The regular hyacinths are in full bloom out in our yard right now. I always bring a few into the house at a time but they're so SWEET smelling they make me sneeze! Achhoooo! Beautiful but.....*sigh*
ReplyDeleteJust love the photo of Watson's Scottie bum. Such a gud dug he is.
I knew they were hyacinths but didn't know what kind .
Deletethe scent was light or at lest these where, not as strong as the single ones
I think the egg is a very good omen. And I absolutely love the images of sweet baboo Watson in the circle of sun. I think the two are somehow connected. Take a look and see what your inner man tells you.
ReplyDeleteFeel better, p.
I think you are right.
DeleteEgg buttons! Love the following the sun sequence. x
ReplyDeleteLove the name egg buttons, I cut the egg in half so I could take a photo

ReplyDeleteWatson is so cute laying in the sun and moving as sun moves. Such a sweetheart :-)
The flower is beautiful and the vase is perfect for it! At first I thought the egg was soap or butter. This is really cool that egg came out like that! What a fun accident :-)
I just thought the egg was amazing. It was a fun accident.
DeleteHope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of Watson...and yes, that's a fascinating egg!
Not sure what I have but no temp so I feel that is a good sign ?
DeleteA strange egg!
ReplyDeleteLying in sun puddles is all too appealing.
If I could get down and back up I would be right there with Watson.
DeleteI love watching an animal follow sunbeams over the course of a day. That's how to live!
ReplyDeleteI know it is just the best.
DeleteNeat looking egg!
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope you will feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteOh thank so much I am feeling weird but no temp so all is good, the egg was too much fun.
