Well, either this is a very late winter storm or a very early summer storm
that zoomed into Tucson this morning.
High winds up to 60 miles are blowing through town right now.
Bringing some rain in the mountains, drizzles at the home and the smell
of sage and damp earth in the air.
.
.
So as a weatherperson used to say years ago,
time to tie down garbage cans and small dogs !
I must admit the way Waldie ears are staring to lift
I think we could have the first flying dog ever !
flying . . . parsnip
music. . . Listen to The Wind, Chuck Mangione
Batton down Parsnip!
ReplyDeleteWaldie's got the stoic and sure sort of vantage point going on!
ReplyDeleteThat was a photo of Waldie before his surgery.... It was a windy day and of course I missed the photo of his ears way up in the air.
DeleteSo happy to see the wee Waldie looking more like himself again. Lurved the photos of the two square ones being all snuggie from yesterday. Such good boys.
ReplyDeleteThe smell of sage and damp earth sounds delightful...but not those 60 mph gusts of wind...whoo! Hold tight! X
Waldie does look so much better... in fact I posted a photo of him last Wednesday
DeleteThis is a pre- surgery photo with his ears being blown
When the summer monsoons come the air is filled with ozone too.
Waldie seems to enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteHe is a gud dug !
DeleteAh, the inimitable smell of sage after the rains!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, I sure hope Waldie won't go flying away!
ReplyDeleteHope you stay safe on the ground during storm!
You're funny.
ReplyDelete60 mph - that is a high wind, indeed. Glad your dogs didn't fly away.
ReplyDeletehee hee... Given Waldie's orthopedic problems, flying might just be the ticket for him!
