Pat... I rather like Soccer, who knew... It was a 1-1 tie... and USA just missed a 2nd goal. but, more importantly which " Sense and Sensibility" ? I just watched on TV again a movie "The Jane Austen Book Club" with Emily Blunt you might like it.
It was the film written by Emma Thomson with her, Kate Winslett and more first eleven actors in it. What a great result for the footie. Honour satisfied all round. I'll look out for the Book Club film.
Glad your guys are getting in on the fun! Since I'm English & American it was hard to know who to root for......... I think England in the end. Buster was for America!
Joanna... The Boys can rip a squeaky toy in 30 seconds flat. Their ball of choice is Tennis Ball sized. I also have been known to roll the super small round watermelons on the floor for them ... they try to bite it but can't. Quick wash and it is ready for us to eat. Desert and and Floor Show !
Elizabeth ... It was getting hot at 11:30 so they were ready to call it quits. I know how you feel, my son lives in Japan works part time at a Irish Bar surrounded by Australians, English, Irish and Japanese, they root for everyone... it's a hoot ! I will root for Buster !
I'm not sure what happened because I watched 'Sense and Sensibility' instead. May the best man have won;)

Wonderful photo. Those dogs are the real champions. Who cares about human soccer?
ReplyDeleteThey are certainly the best looking players I've seen so far!
ReplyDelete1-1 wasn't what I was hoping for, but a great showing! Thanks for the warning emails.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth ...
ReplyDeleteThank You, well they are Scottish so playing any ball game is fun for them.
Eryl ...
They are very cute ! Thank goodness the short legs keep them grounded (wahahahah, I'm bad) so their heads don't get too big.
David ...
Goooooooooooooooooal ! I had hoped for a win some good news would have been nice over here...
Just such cuties! My dogs like playing soccer too but their jaws are bigger so they tend to ruin the ball. Your two appear to be enjoying the game.
