  1. Poor Winston! It's good that you're smart enough to know about peach pits... I have a feeling most people wouldn't. That cute little fella is lucky to have you... even if he DID throw up.

HA! Your alien muffins look delicious. :)

    Have a super weekend.

    1. Any pit is bad even cherry.
The muffins went fast. If Elizabeth wouldn't have said something I wouldn't have seen it.
But if you look at them almost all of them have 2 blueberries on top what a hoot. I did not plan it.

  5. Hi, Gayle!

I am breathing a sigh of relief knowing that Winston is AOK after chewing on that poison pellet (peach pit). You were wise to get him to the vet for a shot w/o delay. I am very happy to know the story has a happy ending.

I enjoyed the comic strip. It's so true!

Those alien muffins just spoke to me saying: "Take me to your stomach." :)

Have a safe and happy weekend, dear friend Gayle!

  6. Oh my dear dog...and why do these things always seem to happen at bedtime? So very relieved there was (aside from the 'urping') a happy ending! Those muffins are calling my name. Wishing you a restful weekend friend Gayle. X

  7. Poor Winston! So glad he's okay, but it must have been horrible for you!

And the muffins...They were probably scrumptious but they look too much like a person/thing! I wouldn't be able to eat them.

  15. Some years ago, our little Daisy gobbled down a cake of rat poison on a Sunday - (we hadn't seen her sneak past our feet when we opened the gate up to the second floor of the garage. We were horrified and so very fortunate the vet answered the phone. He told me to get a spoonful of peroxide down her throat immediately. If she didn't vomit we were to rush her there as she could have died from internal bleeding. The peroxide made her vomit and it all came up! When our other dog grabbed a human pill accidentally dropped on the floor, we knew what to do. It really works. Ask your vet about it.

Raisins and grapes can be poisonous too - but I'm sure you know that. I LOVE your blog and Iwinston's posts. I can only imagine how frightened you were.

I know about the grapes and raisins. I should look up other items.
      Thank You for the Info.

It is a big scary world out there.

  19. I don't give our dogs that crap from out because they put stuff in them that doesn't need to be. There's no reason for food dye in dog treats. None. It's for the human eye and I don't need that either. They can suck it.

LOVE the alien muffins. That is too funny and too cute.
