Square Dog Friday. . . he is backkkk

Square Dog Friday best day of the week is here.
In the words of The Terminator . . .
i'm back !
.

Remember this tiny wee sweet manadables of doom ?

Here he is on his first morning home.
This photo was taken right after he ate a little dead lizard.
I have no words.

 Ears are almost up,

Forget cat ears, whiskers and radar.
winston ears win !

 Son call them cactus ears.

bad gud dug i winston is wanting in so i winston can go back out again.
.
The next two photos are from his first night back. He likes to go potty in the same spot.
The sprinklers were on and he didn't care.
The photos are very grainy but you can just make him out.

No words or maybe just so much crazy.

I was sitting in the side yard that we are cleaning it up and
winston climbed up to sit in a pot  of dirt next to me.

winston is only back for a week then he goes back to Paul's for about 3  more weeks
of training. He is one fireball of crazy.

......

Here is your pretty for the start to the weekend.
Check out at Cro's (Magnon's Meanderings) blog on my sidebar for Wednesday and Thursday.
He talks about the work of Julie Mehretu and then his similar work.
I commented on my Japanese's sons calligraphy work.
He was practicing on huge sheets of rice paper. When he gave it to me it was tearing
so he cut them into smaller pieces.
I then cut them smaller and framed them. I enjoy looking at them everyday.

 Wonky photo

The 3rd one was knocked off and glass broken. It was put back wrong it need to be turned one flip to the right. It connects the two others on each side.
I have left it this way till I decided if I want it to go back they way I first had them.

They can stand on their own or together you can see some letters and words.
Some of the best art in my home is from this very talented son.
In fact all my three children are very talented and much of the art on my walls
is made by them. I am very lucky.

cheers,  parsnip

  2. Make up your mind, Winston... in or out? :)

Hi, Gayle! Beware the razor sharp Mandibles of Doom. If he is crazy enough to stand under lawn sprinklers and sit in a pot of dirt, who knows what he is capable of? :) I hope Winston is learning a lot at doggie boot camp. Can he tie a square dog knot? :)

You son's artwork surely is remarkable and looks great displayed upon your wall.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, dear friend Gayle!

  3. Well, the apples don't fall far from the tree. Those are some ears. I was afraid he'd be gone a long time. My weenies would die if they were squirted like that. Don't like to get wet.

And I love your beautiful dining room, Gayle.

    1. It is lots of work having him back but he is doing so well that I do not want to drop the ball on his training.

  5. He's too adorable for his own good, how can you let him go for 3 more weeks. We use to have a cat who ate lizards or as much of them as he could catch, then promptly barf them up again.
Your son's work is so striking.

    1. He is acting so much better but stubborn. No Chewing !
The new meds I am on is awful. The side effects are driving me mad and I am cranky.
I love that he is being trained with love and I can rest while I figure out if I am staying on the new meds.

  6. Oh those ears! Laughed out loud at his photos. Puppies are so funny and strange...but when ya gotta go...ya gotta go, even while being sprayed with water! My Pip would have just have come back inside and peed on the floor. Not a water dog that girl. Those prints done by your son are gorgeous! X

  7. Very nice artwork.

I love his new "big" dog ears. He is so cute. A little bit of sprinkling is not going to deter his tinkling. I guess he likes water.

  9. I can see why you have them on your wall. They remind me of the work of Franz Kline, of whom I'm a big fan! Yours look great.

    2. Oh My goodness you are so right I love Kline's work. The feeling he gives with the strong lines.
It is like the teachers I watched practicing the same stroke til it became real.

  12. HA! Seeing's as how Watson likes to sit in a pot of dirt, it's a GOOD thing he doesn't mind taking a shower while he goes potty. (That is soooo funny! A cute little creature of habit... but at least, it makes cleaning up after him easier.)

You mention how talented your kids are... who do you think they got it from, silly? (YOU, in case you were pondering...)

    Have a super weekend.

  13. Did Winston remember you or your home? I'm not sure how good puppies memories are. Of course, there's you scents.

    1. Yes he did. When he went out to the side yard, he baked at a pot that I had moved. So he remembered.

  16. Mandibles, you must work very hard at your training so the nice tall person who feeds you will have an easy time with you. Make her happy.

    Love,
