    1. Yes of course I will stop what.I am doing to let you out and then 3 seconds later later I will lets you back in.
Scotties always want to know what is on the other side of the screen door, gate or window.

  2. I would love swimming. Before the greenhouse, I floated in my pool and watched the stars come out. My weenies had a doggie door until a momma raccoon and four youngsters came in one night and also had to keep the cats and cat hair outside.

    1. I have a doggie door but it leads to a stucco, and iron fence enclosed small side yard . That was I can keep The Square Ones safe from critters that want to eat them. Plus they can't get in the house that way.

  3. In the 80's here too, but soon to cool down. Mac just started cleaning the pool, but we won't open it for quite a while. As always the Hamish looks amazing, hope he's feeling well.

  4. We hit 80 here today, too. But it gets colder towards weekend...it will be in 30s for low. Crazy weather. That's a lovely picture of the bee! We have a lot of big bees (bumblebee?) around here. I'm ok as long as they don't sting....but three or four of them buzzing around is a bit too noisy!
thehamish, you are such a pretty dug :-) Happy Wednesday xoxo

    1. The Bees do not want to bother you and want to be left alone.

  5. The Hamish has got a very handsome face. I can see how you would continue to reply to his in and out requests.

Thank you so much for the bee and Meyer Lemon Tree. I've never before (as far as I can recall) ever seen what sorts of blossoms result in such delicious lemons.

  9. Hamish has cataracts, doesn't he?

    1. He has had lens replacement (almost blind). What you are seeing that looks like cataracts
is crystal deposits from the steroid eye drops he had to take after after the operation.

  10. We have a saying here Gayle that dogs are always on the wrong side of the door - they ask to be let out and then stand watching to come in and vice versa.

    1. Then morning and evenings have been so nice....that the door has been openSoon it will be too hot to even think of the screen door being in use.

  12. What delightful pictures the last two are, for different reasons. Can Hamish see OK now - or will he be able to? I thought at first they were cataracts too till I read your comment.

    1. I love the bee photo.
I am trying to think how long it has been maybe 8 or 9 years ?
He can see but not as great as before. I think he loses a lot in bright sun to shadows and
      shadow in the evening
