Wednesday In Japan. . . mail

Oh My Goodness, gifts from Japan.
Family always sends me treats and gifts when they go out on trips
or see something they think I would like.
Thank Goodness, I am so lucky.
.
Son asked Granddaughter if she would like draw on the box.
When I send gifts I try to draw on the box or envelope,
just to make it more fun.
She has surpassed anything I could draw.
.
All the fun things she likes to do or see.

.

.

 .

Son translated the very funny book, the hat is for his Brothers Birthday,
small Year of the Monkey Bell,  Okinawa Brown Sugar nut candy,
Chocolate Kitty candy, Green Tea Candy and Rice Crackers.
.....
Here is the artist, looking through the Gud Dug window at sweet baboo Watson
and he is smiling back at her.

.
This is one of my favorite photos if not number one.
Watson rallied when Mia was here last summer.
He has always adored her and protected her since she was a tiny baby.
He died soon after she left.

.................

Here is your mid-week pretty.

I have posted this before but it deserves a second posting.
What a hoot !

treats. . . parsnip
music. . . Another Day. . . The Zombies

  2. Watson loved Mia above all others.
When they first brought Mia to see us she was still a wee one. One morning Mum woke up very ill and they rushed to hospital. I baby sat with Mia on the bed and turned in a movie. Watson jumped up on the bed and laid down next to her and didn't move.
Even when Mum came home he laid on the foot of the bed or on the floor.
He always looked after her when she came for a visit.

  5. The packaging is WONDERFUL. I'd have a hard time opening it as I tried to save every bit of it.

Hope you are well, dear Gayle!

  6. Gifts from across the seas. Our daughter always gets her Dad a lot of edible goodies when she comes, I'm not much of an adventurous eater,so I just watch him enjoy.
    It is a great photo!!
