.........

Yes, you are sweet pea. You are the very best Scotty and I love you.

.............

And as always just because I can here is your pretty to start the weekend.

I mentioned on my last post about the Native Arizona Bees.
They are solitary bees but go about their sweet little bee lives and do not bother you.
I have planted a lot of rosemary for their bee enjoyment.
They do not live in hives but any small space by themselves.

.
There is a wonderful local artist who makes these fabulous works of art
like the one above.
It is a hanging piece of wood that has been drilled with holes.  In every little hole
a bee will make his home.

.
Here is another wonderful piece of his work.
Fabulous !

Have a terrific weekend !

  1. I thought Ham was looking at his shadow. If the sun comes out and dries up all the rain, it'll be glorious here too.

  2. Hi, Gayle!

I always look forward to your Square Dog Friday post because it gives me a chance to gaze at thehamish from a variety of angles. When he went outside for his sniffies he looked like a sun dial! Thehamish saw his shadow and predicted 8 more months of heat in Arizona. :) I love thehamish! I am also fascinated by your Native Arizona Bees. "Bee is for beneficial" and I'm happy to know that you and your local artist friend realize that and try to help the insects thrive.

Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend Gayle!

  7. thehamish is such a cutie pie! Love his pretty legs and pantaloon! So adorable he looks back to make sure you are following :-) My boys do that, too, especially Niko. Those art works are very lovely. How nice bees make home in those holes. That piece of art is like bee's condo :-) Have a wonderful weekend xoxo

  10. Here in France we have Mason bees that are solitary and will start looking for places to park their eggs now. These places are often just screw holes in the undersides of our teak outside furniture. They appear to ignore the bamboo palaces that we supply! Still not warm enough for Liizzzarrrddds...yet.

  18. I loved seeing Hamish in the sunlight with his shadow! I have a small wooden patio table that has a bee living in it, maybe it's one of those solitary natives. It never causes any trouble.
