Square Dog Friday. . . just stuff

It is here, Square Dog Friday best day of the week.
It has been a very no good very bad two weeks for me.
I sound just like a broken record, yuck.

But Square Dog Friday always makes me happy.
Here are a few photos from the last few days.

Much like Watson, thehamish will alway find where the sun is.

.
I took my afternoon meds, drank some coffee, set my alarm for an hour
and took a nap or like I say "rest my eyes".
thehamish snuggled next to me and fell asleep. He is just not feeling
very fluffy. We just came back from the vet, besides an ear infection his
latest tests came back fine. As I have to constantly monitor his meds,
and food we go in for tests almost every month or if lucky two months.

I was looking through the photos and  found this old photo of Watson helping  me make the bed.

And here is thehamish helping me make the bed or maybe just getting ready for a nap ?
These spring sheets also make me happy and I use them often, just so pretty.
I love violets and these spring sheets remind me of them.

A photo of thehamish and one of his bionic eyes.

 Just sitting in the sun.

This is another photos of thehamish having a quick bottom a wash up.
..........

Son found these flowers and greens at Trader Joe's.
We think they look like the spring flowers blooming around Tucson right now.

.................

And as always here is your pretty to start the weekend !
The photos is off the computer so it is quite blurry.
Sorry about that but it made me smile so I had to post it.
The hen found a tiny puppy sleeping in her coop.
Being a Mum she sat down and covered him with her feathers.
Even with her chick looking on and probably saying  "What the heck "
this is a sweet family moment.

    1. He has not had an ear infection for a long time, yea ! and I caught this one early.
He just seems sad or maybe quiet is a better word. He lived his whole life with Watson
and his friend is gone. He is still having fun but not the same.

  2. Hi, dear Gayle!

thehamish reminds me of my Toto. Toto suffered chronic ear infections, enjoyed snoozing in patches of sunlight on the rug, and loved to help mommy make the bed. Thanks to the internet and YouTube, I have seen many examples of the mothering instinct crossing over to the young of different species.

Thank you for another fabulous series of pictures for T.G.I.S.D. Friday, dear friend Gayle, and happy Easter to you and thehamish!

    1. Dealing with the x is never fun.
I love making the bed with thehamish. He bounces on it like it is a trampoline and almost somersaults in the air. Great fun !

  7. I'm so sorry it's been a crummy couple of weeks. Your post was so cheery. The flowers, your delightful home, the chicken brooding a puppy, sweet Hamish.

May you find renewal this Easter.

  8. It's Bionic Hamish...he can run fast, jump higher than any other Scottie. And he can see through any object to find chicken strips!

  9. I can relate to napping in the sun! And my sweet Jackson used to sleep with me for as long as he could climb onto the bed. In fact, he used to come and get my guy for a nap in the afternoon!

    Such good memories!

Baby Hamish as long as you can. He's a cutie!

    1. We took him to a meet and greet today and he was fine but the dog we came for barked and growled the whole time.
I was so sad over this.

  10. Sorry it's been a rough patch for you. I hope things are better for both you and thehamish now.

I love how your pups "help" with the bed-making chores. Our cats wouldn't dream of letting me tackle the sheet-changing duties without their energetic assistance, either. Matter of fact, they turn just about any chore into an adventure. (Ever scrubbed a floor with a cat on your back...?)

    Happy Easter!

The cat thought "oh good now I don't have to walk on the floor, I the cat expected this sooner !"

  16. Hello, thehamish. I'm sorry I wasn't here to greet you on Friday. Did you receive any Easter gifts from the tall person who feeds you?
