Square Dog Friday sorta of. . .

Hello Everyone !
Not back yet, start up date 5 October
but
Japanese son sent me this clip and thehamish and I
wanted to share it.

Man builds 'dog train' to take stray dogs on adventures

                   .
Mr. Bostick is 80 years old amd lives in Forth Worth, Texas.
He and his brother have been taking care of the wildlife around
their home for over 30 years.
They started taking in all the stray dogs that
(mean, stupid, idiots, my words) are dumped on their road.
The brothers wanted to take the dogs on trips.  Mr. Bostick came up with
this idea after seeing a tractor pulling a cart.
They said that the dogs get so excited about their weekly train rides.
I love these brothers !

thehamish sents wurfs
and chkikin' strips to all
.

thehamish is doing fine but he misses his Watson
I miss him too !
.........
 wurfs. . . parsnip
music. . . Happy,  Pharrell

  1. Hi again, Gayle! There's a special place in h-double-scribble for people who dump their unwanted animals along dangerous roads and highways, and a special place in heaven for people like those brothers who take them in. I have never known a dog that doesn't love to go for a ride, and this simple, open air dog train idea is a delight to behold.

I wish you and thehamish a peaceful weekend. I continue to think about your Watson every day. I won't ever forget him.

If you look him up you can view them driving through a golf course and everyone stops to wave and take photos !

    1. They are very happy dogs.
The carts have pillows and the older dogs have ladders to help them up.
The dogs have names and the last two have to be put on leads because they like to jump out.
It you have a chance look him up

    2. Stopped in to tell you that the Swiss Chard that I turned into chips, oh my, so yummy. The radish tops were good too, but the chard, I liked better. No Dandelion available for me. Though that is one I will try and when I do, I'll post about it. Thanks for the tip.

  5. Hello, thehamish. We love you. We love your mom. Willy Dunne Wooters takes Franklin for a car ride every weekend. Before Franklin gets in the car, he has to have his paws wiped off because they get muddy in the flooded backyard. Franklin is gud. He lies on his back while WDW cleans his paws with a towel.

    Love,
    Janie

  16. What an eccentrically lovely man Mr Bostick must be. I guess Hamish must think that Watson is away somewhere. I am sure he will be glad if he can help to comfort you, even if he does not understand quite why.
