Century Plant

The winter rains have come and everything is growing.

Century Plant is growing fast, sending up the stalk.

I will miss this living sculpture when it dies.

Everything has buds and new growth.

I do not want plant this one till the bloom comes. Huge flower 12 inches tall 6 inches across.

 Agatha is hiding in plain sight,  this is her stealth security role.

Top security agent iwinston is also on stealth duty.

This cloud was really more pink/rose but the camera chose a very yellow

yellow instead. It looks nice but I wish the color was more sunset pink.

Yea ! University of Arizona Women's Basketball.

University of Arizona played a huge part in the 

Black Hole Event Horizon. I have been so interested in this.

Imagine the first image of a Black Hole !

So Excited !

The University of Arizona have a fabulous Space Studies Program

and if I didn't go into Commercial Art. I would have studied Space

and the Stars but I do not have the math skills.

OH NO NO NO NO NO NO NO !

Tucson had quite a bit of rain and snow.

Everything is blooming in the short spring as Summer heat is coming.

One bad result from this is my Century Plant, Agave plant, is going to bloom and then die.

When I bought this home one of the wonderful things about it was the two Century Plants
in the backyard. You can see one bloomed years later. All the birds and critters love
the seeds and crunchy bits of the plant.  I miss the plant, I understand about
Mother Nature but I don't have to like it.

After the "destroyer" ripped the screens apart we put a heavy screen over the 

regular screen.  I have been working with Agatha and she has almost figured

out that I will open the door for her without the screen ripping.

The wildfires have started, two small ones already. Everything is growing and blooming,
that means wildfires will be starting soon.
