Monday catch up.

Last year daughter and flatmates came down to Tucson for some 

New Year warm weather with no snow and to celebrate my Birthday.

Stephanie drew thehamish for me.

After thehamish died one day this came in the mail.

 Stephanie never saw Watson except in photos and yet this looks just like him.

This looks so much like both of them.

She is a wonderful artist.

growing in the garden I just put in the jar.
This week it was my pomegranate tree.

Winston is still at Puppy Boot Camp.

 The Denver National Weather Service had a bewildering bob on their radar this week.

A huge mass of color appeared and they didn't know what it was ?
Turns out it was a migration of Painted Lady Butterflies from north to south.
They covered an area about 70 miles wide.
Can you believe what a delight it would have been to stand there and
have millions of butterflies flying above and around you.
Yes Please !

 Found this adorable dog up for adoption. I want him but two

puppies are way too much for me.  He is a Corgi Dachshound mix.

What a happy a gud dug !
He is all the way up in Phoenix (if he was in Tucson I would have adopted him)
but he wasn't on the list yesterday so I think he was adopted.

My arthritic hands have a mind of their own and sometime I find strange photos  

that I have accidently taken when I put the phone down.

Hey, I just found out I am a racist.

.

Just found out I am a racist.

A few days ago I found out that Librarian, Liz Soeiro  has refused a gift 

of four Dr. Seuss books from Melania Trump because they are racist.

My three over 30 year old children have all read these books. Everyone their age read 

them in school. The rhyming is good for speech in little ones. 

Not a fan of the drawings but I understand the color choices.

Well they are racist. 

She refused these books criticizing the Trump Administration.

What I wonder is if Michelle Obama sent these books would they still be racist ?

And by the way President Obama is a fan of Dr. Seuss books and
Michelle Obama has dressed up as and read Dr. Seuss books.

Now after the horrible shooting in Las Vegas, 

CBS Vice President Hayley Geftman-Gold has said she was " not even 

sympathetic" to the victims of the Las Vegas shooting because 

"country music fans are often Republican".

Okey...  I am a  Democrat who like Country Music. 

Hillary Clinton called me a Deplorable.

Because I/we did not support her. I didn't support Trump either.

Meryl Streep said if it wasn't for the east and west coast,  all the arts
we would be watching football and mixed martial art.

I have been a Democrat all my life.

I like Country Music.

Have read The Cat In The Hat way too many times.

I guess I am a Deplorable because I follow the laws of the United States.

I do not like Football but enjoy Baseball very much.

And I started to take a Mixed Martial Art class that uses a cane.

and...

Art come from everywhere, not just the east and west coast.

 just saying....
