The cactus plants are clearly thriving, even if some other weather aspects would worry me, too.<br /><br />I've bought some tiny cactus plants over the past month from the farmers market. So far, they manage to stay alive (but not exactly thrive) on my south-facing window sill, with limited daily sunlight.
