Square Dog Friday... what ?

What ?

 Wall of Doom

iwinston destroy

 yesh destroy destroy destroy

spoils from the battle gud gud gud

 EVIL SMILE !
wahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

 Oliver out
 Oliver in.
1.5 nano seconds

Here is your pretty for the week end.

Rain on my studio window out the back.
in the front yard is was completely dry.
So very Tucson monsoons !
The rains come in waves,

Another view out my back yard.

What ?
I have had rotten two years and the last two weeks have not been great either.
Destroyed my foot and leg, so yea me !
Then I said something weird on a friends blog, so he removed the comment.
I completely understand and happy he did. First time it ever happened to me
and on a friends blog ! I am so upset with myself.

Had another commenter on a different blog said how dumb I was because I couldn't spell.
Didn't feel like explaining about the workings of my brain after injury.
I try to write what I mean but it comes out jumbled.

All add up to a perfect storm melt down. So dumb !

I decided to stop blogging for a month or more.

Then realized I enjoy visiting my blog friends.
Plus I do not need Voldemorts of blogs
to tell me what to do.

So I may or may not comment but I will try to read your blogs.
I might only post once a week or not.
We will see how it goes.
Day by day.

Maybe ?

cheers,  parsnip
As Walgreens says... Be Well !

  1. I love his smile! Please don't stop blogging, I would miss you and iwinston. Maybe having a short break to breathe out will help. We can all say things we don't mean from time to time, if we've had a rubbish day or are just feeling yuk, don't beat yourself up too much my friend. You're not a nasty person x

  2. Wow, Winston has done great job destroying the boxes! I love his evil (but not really evil 'cause he is a sweetie) smile :-)
I may have left weird comments on some of the blogs, too. That happens :-) And I love reading your blog posts!

  3. Hi, Gayle!

Thanks for giving us a sneak preview of the new horror feature Attack of the 50 Foot Scottie! :) Square dog Winston gets more handsome every single week. You have an excellent groomer! I hope your foot and leg have improved since I was here last time. I'm sorry you have had a couple of unfortunate blogging experiences on top of everything else. I wouldn't let it get me down and I can tell that you aren't about to.

I wish you and your gud dug and your katties a safe and happy weekend, dear friend Gayle!

      Have a lovely weekend.

  4. Gayle. Everybody has 'blips' - the older we get the more prone we are to them. You can have as many as you like on my blog! I love hearing of Master Winston's goings on - he made short work of those boxes today! I would hate to stop hearing how he and you are doing. Ignore people who don't understand - there are plenty of us who do. x

    1. It all came bubbling up very dumb of me. I do not like making silly mistakes.

  5. Pbbbbbt! Don't let it get to you. We all mess up every once in a while, and anyone who doesn't realize that isn't much of a friend. And phooey on anyone who was rude enough to point out a spelling error. You are NOT 'dumb." And THAT'S the truth! PBBBBT!

If you take a little break, I get it, but I hope you aren't gone for long. We all hearing from you and seeing pictures of your little corner of paradise and those adorable little hairy angels who share it with you.

  6. Gayle, every one of us struggle from time to time with awkward interactions in the comments of blogs we enjoy. We're all human. As for the person who mentioned your spelling....you don't owe them or anyone else an explanation about the struggles you've faced! Ignore rude people. You have lots of friends here who love you and love reading your blog. <3

I know I say this over and over, but I love your home! And Winston is beyond adorable!

  7. Friend Gayle, the wisdom of Weave's comment above sums it up for me also. The problem with our responses to other's blogs is there is no eye contact, no twinkle in the eye or...whatever, to help further express what we're trying to say. This is why I comment so infrequently at times. I love so many of the same blogs and bloggers as yourself and Weave, and am grateful to have them everyday in my life. But sometimes I look back at a comment I've made and think...well, that didn't exactly come out quite the way I meant. *sigh* Tis life. Hugs to you and that gud dug. X

  9. I mess up all the time, even before my adventurous medical year. Friends understand. Would miss you and Winston if you went away. A pox on those who don't understand. Give Winston a hug from me, I love the work he's done on the wall of doom.

  10. Oh PLEASE don't allow the opinion of others upset to you. I enjoy your blog and will miss you! I have never seen any thing irregular in your blog. Don't worry, we all goof sometimes. Winston is adorable. Please don't deprive us of his antics!

  11. Blame Dr Johnson and his dictionary..A certain Mr W.Shakespeare wrote a letter, and wrote his name five times in different places in that one letter...every time spelt differently!
Keep on blogging and doing it your own way

  12. What happened to your leg and ankle? Does someone black and furry have something to do with it? He is cute as ever. Love his weapon. I've had rain in the front but not in the back too. Isn't it weird?

    1. Winston tugged the lead and I went sliding down the side of the cat and smashed my leg and foot on the curb and hot street.

    2. Oh Gayle. Sorry and hope it isn't too painful. Hate those things that happen in a split second. They usually happen so fast it is hard to remember exactly what happened.

    3. And, I didn't read the post you referred to but I have an idea who the mean queen is and for the very same reason, quit following three blogs across the pond that I like very much. Such disrespect, and they were all men's. Who wants to read blogs that make you mad or are rude? I don't think that is a fun or enjoyable way to blog.

    1. If I was feeling better, I would not have commented. I was in the wrong and my friend was so nice about it. Told me in advance. The reason for the comment was mine to let go and being so in pain I didn't drop it.
My friend is a lovely person.

    2. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your blog and look forward to reading your posts and seeing all of the cute pictures of Winston. I check in every day to see what you and Winston are up to.

You have such gorgeous views from your windows, such beautiful mountains, and then there are the lizards and javelinas and all sorts of other wild animals from Winston's window. Rabbits, squirrels, and hawks are about as wild as it gets here where I live, and our windows are up too high for my little Fuzzy Pom to see out of them.

Please don't let someone's issue with a spelling error upset you. Most people make spelling errors sometimes. It's silly that someone would try to make themselves feel superior pointing out other peoples' spelling errors. I've reread comments that I have made, after I hit the Publish button, unfortunately, and couldn't believe spelling errors that I made, or sometimes even the way my comment actually came out as I had typed it. I should probably proofread before publishing, but usually don't.

I hope your foot and leg heal quickly. I recently had knee replacement surgery, so I have been having a lot of "pain brain" days for the past few weeks.

Take care. I'll be looking forward to your next post.

  15. Gayle, you are a delightful person and a joy to mine and many other's online adventures. Please don't let a handful of poo poo heads chase you off.

I love Winston's doom toy. Fun fact! That weapon is called a flail.

    1. I am thinking of putting him on some doggie downers.
He is so fierce sometimes and I think he is scared ? He will bark and then run to be by me. He really needed to have Hamish around more to help him and teach him.
I am trying to find a friend but he barks so much... le sigh.
