  1. Hi, Gayle!

I can testify that it takes a lot of work to keep an indoor collection of cactus and succulents looking nice and neat. It was a wonderful Mom's Day gift idea for your daughter's friends to tidy up, remove debris and add new specimens to your Sheep Planter.

I can picture that Jackrabbit's long ear winding up in the Mandibles of Doom. Better spray those bunnies with ammonia. That dinner looks delicious. Mrs. Shady grows kale in her garden and prepares fish and kale a couple of times a week.

Consider this, Gayle. If left alone long enough, Winston would eventually recreate all of the great paintings of the Old Masters. :)

Have a safe and happy week, dear friend Gayle!

  2. I seem to have lost my touch with succulents, but like growing orchids, I'm going to try again! Your daughters did a wonderful job! xoxo

    1. I miss all the orchids I had when I lived in Laguna Beach. I really did nothing but water.
I had a wall of them. So pretty.

  3. I'm in love with your sheep planter. Wish I didn't kill off all my succulents. Kisses to iWinston.

    1. I wonder if the coyotes come after your new rabbit? My daughter was in Phoenix last week and said she about died from the heat.

  5. What nice gifts. Of course, Winston's art is outstanding. I have a permanent Franklin and Penelope art collection on my living room windows. It's permanent because I don't bother to clean it off.

    Love,
    Janie

  6. I can manage to keep a cactus alive. That's about it.

    He's wanting belly rubs.

  8. I love your new rabbit. He looks like a hare. Yummy supper too. And I always love the cactus collection. But the best is undoubtedly iwinston’s art. 😊.

  10. For the dinner last night (they are leaving today) Daughter made Japanese potato salad, spicy crab, salmon, avocado, shishito peppers, sushi rice, cucumbers and carrot spears, and nori to wrap it all up in.
    Heaven !

  11. I've never been good with plants. They scream when they see me coming.

Those potatoes look delicious--I've never seen a potato I didn't love.

And Winston, as always, is adorable.
