Let There Be Cake !

Today, it is Groundhog Day in America,
it is also my oldest Son's Birthday.
If you have to share your Birthday with a Holiday I think this is a great one.
Just a silly, funny holiday.
.

Happy Happy Happy Birthday to my very own Groundhog.
Let there be CAKE !

cake. . . parsnip
music. . .  The Happy Birthday Song, of course !

    1. I just love this Pearls !
How are your citrus trees doing ? We will have a hard freeze tonight but I am not doing anything. My grove is so small now and so old that I will wait till spring to see what damage is done.

  3. Happy birthday to your son. William's birthday was yesterday.

The groundhog did not see his shadow! I posted it all over my Facebook page--he'd better not be wrong! I'm already sick of winter!

  4. Happy Birthday to your son in Japan and I hope you can have cake with the Hamish instead of going to your son`s party ( which would be a long way to go....).

    1. Don't worry he is wrong more that he is right.
And with everyone standing around him, how can he see anything ?

  6. Great cartoon, Gayle! Phil's prognostication today surprised me. It isn't often that he forecasts an early spring. Happy birthday to your son!
