square dog friday....

The Famous Two Headed Dog Of Tucson.
I had just moved to Tucson in February of 2007.
This is a small dog basket but each dog likes to curl up in it.
Hamish takes much comfort by being with Watson and I think (?) after the move he especially needed his big brother.

Gift from Japanese family.

yesh ! i winagain...
Watson... can I go now, please ?

This is why I don't buy cute dog toys.

I really thought this was a charming blue toy and I rather liked the fact it was a a fun representation of a Hedgehog.
I don't like when our toys are too realistic.
Enjoyed the nice chewy blue part.
And although there were a squeaky in each paw, the material was much to thin and extreamly easy to chew through.
This very cute Hedgehog lasted about 2.3 nano seconds.

  1. Funny how Japanese so often have the right gift with a theme. Lovely pictures!

    1. Watson is Hamish's touchstone.
I find them curled up at nap time quite off.
When Hamish was almost blind before the surgery he liked being near Watson.
Watson has always been a great friend to Hamish even when Hamsih is always trying to be the head dog. We all don't let him though. Watson is #1

    1. Watson the older one and on the bottom has always been really good to Hamish.
Watson was taking a nap as I was unpacking and putting the books away and Hamish just climbed right in.

  8. I've just been downstairs to check and yes I have three little Scottie dogs sitting on the drawing room hearth. Two black one white. I can't remember where they came from. From now on they are Hamish and Watson. But what to call the white?

    1. So glad you have Scotties in your home.
The white one could be my first Scottie, but she was a very black one so maybe Snowy the companion of Tintin. But from the books not the horrible movie. Maybe Duncan which was Watsons name before we changed it. Dr. Watson was a companion to my Scottie Kirbey.

  9. My dog once had a rubber toy shaped like a rolled newspaper. Called the Dailey Bow-Wow, it had headlines like MAYOR GETS BARKING TICKET. I'm not sure my dog got the joke.

By the way, was something going on with this blog? I tried to leave a comment a couple of days ago, and kept getting a blank screen

  10. I love the two dogs piled into the little basket. I once had a big fat cat that loved to curl up in a little basket and he hung over the edges all over the place. Too bad I don't have a photo. It was before digital cameras.
Isn't that amazing that there are Scottie dog Xs and Os!
Your dogs crack me up. The one with the eye is hilarious.
